As a Fellow of the BioInnovate programme in Ireland, he and his team currently innovate in hypertension treatment. An MBA graduate and certified coach, he drives growth, leadership, and personal development. His career path has spanned across industries, from utilities to e-commerce, where he has successfully launched and managed business units, consistently driving growth and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Dr Martine Abboud is the founder of Creo Incubator an innovative learning platform that combines microlearning and gamification to deliver unique learning experiences in skills and entrepreneurship, and a former Enterprise and Innovation Fellow at the University of Oxford. Aimed at democratising entrepreneurial education, CREO focuses on practical skills development and emerging technology. With an MBA from Quantic and a PhD from Oxford, Martine has been recognised as a Forbes 30U30 and an Eddy Fisher-Nobel Fellowship awardee. Through UGC workshops and corporate training, Martine has helped 2,000+ individuals develop the entrepreneurial skills necessary for success

Cristiana is the CSO and Co-founder of Mitra Bio, a London-based start-up focused on efficient non-invasive skin diagnosis for precision treatments through AI and epigenetics data. Within Mitra Bio, she leads the translation of the technology into industrial settings, currently working in partnership with top skincare and pharma companies to optimize product development and claim substantiation. Cristiana graduated from Oxford and Princeton Universities where she studied Biochemistry and Public Health Economics. She specialized in molecular diagnostics development, having earned a PhD from Queen Mary University of London on developing a self-sampling epigenetics-based test for early cancer detection.
Zahra Jawad
Zahra Jawad
Zahra is the CEO and Founder of Creasallis, an antibody engineering company looking to improve the penetration of drugs into solid tumours. She founded the company in 2021 and raised a pre-seed round of $1 million in 2022, followed by a seed round of $7.4 in 2024. Prior, Zahra spent 15 years in biopharm and biotech designing antibody based drugs for a variety of diseases, mostly focussing on cancer. She worked in early R&D as a lab scientist moving up to director of innovation. Before that, Zahra did a PhD in Biochemistry focussing on protein engineering at the University of Cambridge, and 2 post-docs on protein engineering.

Cristian is a leader in machine learning and drug discovery, with expertise in AI, biomedical sciences, and computer science. As Senior Director at Relation Therapeutics, he grew the team from inception to 60 and led projects enabling Europe’s largest seed round and a industry-defining pharma collaboration. Cristian holds a DPhil from Oxford in Biomedical Sciences and a BEng in CS from Edinburgh, beginning his journey at UPT in Timisoara.

Eric Herrera, CEO of Maverick BioMetals in San Antonio, TX, specializes in molecular neuroscience, genetics, synthetic biology, and enzymology. He adapted high-throughput enzyme engineering for silicate mineral hydrolysis, creating a novel biological process for critical metal extraction.

Alessandro is a co-founder and CEO of Cloudbase Solutions, a company specialized in open source cloud interoperability. He recently realized that living things can be even more interesting than computers and is currently finishing an MRes in Bioinformatics at Birkbeck / UCL. His current research involves bringing together Protein Language Models, MLOps and open source infrastructure.

Radu Ticiu is a seasoned ecosystem builder, startup adviser, educator, running business incubators and coworking spaces, co-founding Banat IT Association, BioCoderDojo, Growceanu Angel Investment, organizing meetups, HackTM, SynBio Timișoara hackathons. Radu is also the initiator of Timisoara Life&Bytes, a non-formal educational project at the junction of life sciences and information technology, supported by Timișoara City Hall, Timișoara City Council and financed by Timișoara Projects Center.

Michael-Bogdan Margineanu is a biomedical scientist with 13 years of experience in research institutions worldwide, including Germany, Saudi Arabia, the UK, Ireland, Austria, the US, Switzerland, and Romania. A 2018 Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings alumnus, he co-founded the Lindau Mentoring Hub and established Biomentorhub, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to mentoring young scientists and promoting bio-entrepreneurship in Romania. As co-founder of the One Health Incubator, Michael is focused on academic and science partnerships and funding.

Victor Murineanu brings over 18 years of experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, and cybersecurity, spanning diverse industries such as finance, government, technology, publishing, and sports. He actively mentors and advises startups and organizations on strategic growth, risk management, and innovation, collaborating with institutions like Cyber Club London and the Institute of Directors. Victor holds an MSc in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and has completed an Executive Leadership Programme at Imperial College Business School.
